The 27-year-old Swiss superstar Roger Federer beat Andy Murray 6-2, 7-5, 6-2 in Monday’s US Open final. It is his fifth straight US Open title as well as 13th Grand Slam title. Roger Federer said “I didn’t feel I was under pressure to prove myself, but it does feel sweet and I think it’s the key for this season”. He further added “I know that usually I play my best on big occasions ……..”

I think Federer was saying this because he knows that the guy on the other side of the net is not rafael nadal. Andy Murray has entered in US final by defeating world’s no. one tennis player rafael nadal in the semi final. Therefore some were expecting like this in final too. But Andy Murray could not make a history.
