Upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week

INDIA’S leading fashion event, Lakmé Fashion Week will be start in next month. And it is expecting that many designers will participate in this INDIA’S PREMIER fashion event. Ravi Krishnan – advisor, IMG – India, Anil Chopra - advisor, Lakme and Vikram Raizada - IMG head of fashion announced the names of all 75 designers as well as 13 sponsors who will be a part of upcoming LFW Spring – Summer 2009 season. Upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week will be at National Centre of Performing Arts Mumbai from October 20 to 24.
75 designers from across the country will be highlight of this most waited fashion event. They will showcase their newest collection during event and try to attract people’s attention for their collection. In the ‘gen next category’ 10 designers will with their collection. While established and emerging categories will have 50 and 11 designers. Sabyasachi Mukherjee will present ‘Lakmé Grand Finale’.
Official sponsors of upcoming India’s premier fashion event are E24, Peroni, Himalayan and DHL. And Co-sponsors are Skoda Auto, Chivas, Levis, Cellucom, Nikon, and Westside. Gitanjali is associate sponsor. In this row Taj President Hotel is named as Official hospitality partner. This mega fashion event will held at National Centre of Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai.
