Aamir’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ selected to Oscars 2009

Aamir Khan’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ movie is India’s entry to the Oscars 2009. It is the second time when Amir’s movie has selected for Oscars. Before it ‘Lagaan’ also has nominated for Oscars and has reached last five movies. ‘Stars on earth’ or ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is sensitive story of an eight-year-old dyslexic child. Actually Taare Zameen Par is the movie of relationship of a boy struggling to come to learning disorder and his teacher.
Bollywood’s perfect man and prominent actor Aamir Khan has directed this movie along with playing role of a teacher. PVR Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions jointly produced ‘Taare Zameen Par’. Darsheel Safary is in role of an eight-year-old dyslexic child in the movie.
The head of the film federation of India jury, filmmaker Suneel Darshan has announcement that ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is India’s entry to the Oscars 2009. The Oscars award ceremony will be held on February 22, 2009. He said that remaining movies also were extremely good; therefore it was not easy to choose the best one. But ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is based on universal theme therefore committee selected ‘‘Stars on earth’ for Oscars. Other films which were in row of Oscars are Marathi films Valu and Tingya, Neeraj Pandey’s A Wednesday, Mumbai Meri Jaan, Subhash Ghai’s Black and Whit,e, Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Jodhaa Akbar and Telugu film Ghanyam.
