Sachin Tendulkar crosses 16,000 runs in ODI

The great Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar today crossed 16K mark in second ODI in Australia. In international cricket history no one crossed this milestone. Sri Lankan cricketer Sanat Jayasuriya is behind Sachin. He is far around 4000 runs from Sachin.
Sachin Tendulkar has played 408 one-day matches in his record making career. He has made 41 centuries and 87 half centuries in ODI. Sachin’s average is 44.24 and strike rate 85.47 that proves his greatness. Sachin also has scored 39 centuries in Test matches.
This ODI series is special for Sachin in many aspect, he first time “hit wicket” out in first match with Australia. Sachin has crossed many milestones of records in his career. Sachin is known for his playing technique. He has been awarded several times by Cricketer of the year in his career by ICC.
