Croatia’s Ivo Karlovic defeated Federer 7-6 (8/6), 4-6, 7-6 (5/7) in the third round of the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters in Cincinnati on Thursday night. At present Nadal is at no. two position in ATP rank while Roger Federer still now is no. one.

Roger Federer has owned the top ranking for 235 weeks. However Rafael Nadal can get number one rank if he wins the title. The world’s second-ranked Rafael Nadal ousted German Tommy Haas, 6-4, 7-6 (0). He has won his last six tournaments. After Federer’s loss all tennis fonder eyes are stop upon Rafael Nadal that he participates in Olympic 2008 as a no. one tennis player or not.
